GREENHORN VILLAGE SUBDIVISION

This subdivision is located in Huerfano County, Colorado and was created in the early 1960s,
but not too many homes have been built. The closest town is Walsenburg, which is about
10 minutes away, which has most services and necessities. Pueblo is about 45 minutes North of
here, and it is about an hour and a half to Colorado Springs and two and a half hours to Denver.
Rio Cucharas Subdivision is right next to Greenhorn Village.

There is no homeowners association and there are no homeowners association fees.

A short distance to the South of here is Lathrop State Park, which is a great place to fish,
swim, hike and watch wildlife. Martin Lake and Horshoe Lake are located inside the park
and they are known for their boating, fishing and water skiing.

FISHING

Martin Lake has perch, walleye, bluegills, wiper, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, black
crappies, rainbow, channel catfish, and cutthroat trout and north pike. The Colorado Division
of Wildlife reported on their web site that recently there were some northern pike in the 20
pound range taken.

Horsheshoe Lake has channel catfish, bluegills, rainbow, cutthroat and brown trout, small-
mouth and largemouth bass, and tiger muskies.

Pueblo Reservoir, about an hour away, offers great fishing for bass, walleye, pan fish and
trout. It is one of the largest lakes in Colorado and a popular place for water skiing and
boating.
